In Coloured canaries: bird with double factor (ex.: opal +pastel) Any other situation not considered above will be studied with a responsible person of the exhibition. Furthermore the wrong size of the ring, a dirty bird or cage, as well as characters on the cage are reasons for an exclusion.

            Standard Description of the South Frilled Canary Position In the shape of a figur “7”. Legs Long and straight well feathered thighs. Plumage Silky, as smooth-feathered as possible in all areas not assigned to frills. Size 17 cm Mantle Symmetrical and voluminous, set as high as possible. Jabot Symmetrical, well filled, in the shape of a basket. Fins (Flanks) Long, symmetrical, rising well round the wings. Head Slender, snake-like and smooth-feathered. Neck Long and smooth-feathered, projecting forward horizontally. Tail Long and narrow Wings Carried close fitting to the body General condition Well used to the cage, clean and healthy. All  colours are allowed.
