Furthermore the wrong size of the ring, a dirty bird or cage, as well as characters on the cage are reasons for an exclusion.

               Standard Description of the North Frilled Canary Mantle Symmetrical and voluminous, falling evenly over the shoulders with a central parting and covering two thirds of the back. Jabot Voluminuous, in the shape of a heart. Fins (Flanks) Long and symmetrical, rising well up round the wings. Size 17 to 18 cm. Position Erect (60º), legs slightly angled. Head and neck Head to be in proportion to the body, round and smooth-feathered. Neck smooth-feathered and well proportioned. Underparts Smooth-feathered. Tail Closely folded, in proportion to the body. General Condition Well used to the cage, clean and healthy. All colours are allowed.
SHOW CAGE: Border type show cage with 2 round perches 12 mm in diameter, 5 wires apart.
